This image is showing a melanoma in a ponies mouth. 

This chap is 26 years old and has obviously had this growing inside his mouth for some time.

He has managed to eat and maintain condition and at the moment it doesn't appear to be causing him any problems.

 

Although he is ok at the moment we will have to monitor him  incase it increases in size and has an impact on his ability to eat.

​

The owners were unaware of this condition, this displays the importance of having regular dental checks carried out.
